Job Description and Requirements:
PLUMBER
The Monmouth County Plumber, under supervision installs, inspects, troubleshoots and repairs plumbing systems. Renovates bathrooms and kitchens in County facilities. Collaborate with coworkers and other trades to complete renovations. Overtime is required at the discretion of the County. Monday through Friday. During winter months duties include snow removal.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Performs preventative maintenance work
• Repairs and installs fixtures, water heaters, piping.
• Responds to emergency maintenance repairs.
• Snow removal during winter months
REQUIREMENTS:
• Valid driver’s license required.
EXPERIENCE:
• Three (3) years of experience in plumbing work involving a variety of layout, installation, and maintenance tasks.
NOTE: A valid Master Plumber's license issued by the New Jersey State Board of Examiners of Master Plumbing may be substituted for (3) three years of related experience.
NOTE: Applicants may be required to possess a valid Master Plumbers license issued by the New Jersey State Board of Examiners of Master Plumbers as determined by the Appointing Authority.
