Job Description and Requirements:
  • Educational requirement:
    Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in one of the Physical Sciences, Environmental Sciences/Studies, Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Environmental Planning, Physical Geography or in Civil Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Bio-resource Engineering.

    Enforcement experience, preferably with NJDEP Environmental regulations covering Solid Waste, Air, Water, Noise, Hazardous Materials responses involving CBRN incidents.

    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    Must serve as a member of the HazMat response team and perform on-call duty assignment(s) after hours on a regular basis.

    Must live within 10 road miles from the Monmouth County border.
